Background

Trapanese Engineering, LLC is named in honor of my father, Pete Trapanese, an engineer whose work spanned a broad range of engineering disciplines and strongly influenced my own professional development. From an early age, I developed an interest in solar energy, advanced wastewater treatment, resource recovery, industrial processes, food production systems, and environmental engineering. More important than any particular technology was the mindset my father instilled: approach problems through observation, analysis, and sound engineering principles. As my interests expanded into architecture, hospitality, design, finance, marketing, and real estate development, I came to recognize that successful projects emerge when these disciplines work together rather than independently. That realization ultimately led to the formation of Trapanese Engineering. My work focuses on identifying opportunities, evaluating development potential, and integrating engineering, design, economics, and human experience into cohesive development concepts. This multidisciplinary perspective continues to guide projects ranging from preliminary feasibility studies to destination developments and master-planned communities.
